To celebrate the launch of Hermann Diagne’s latest book, Dover Street Market Paris host a talk on Saturday 7th September with Kimberley Anthony, Abou Sega, Karim founder of Baara, Jakman and Hermann Diagne.

It's this fascinating alchemy between modernity and cultural heritage that has nourished my artistic eye over the last few months. Si loin mes proches is the extension to my first book, published this year, in a new format. To accompany its launch, I wanted to invite three creatives from different places in Africa to talk about the influence of our origins on our creativity.
